The dying bird

Since ancient times
They spoke legends of her
This beautiful lady
who walks here and there
Crossing countries
everywhere

One day taking a stroll
She reached the shore on her own
She stopped by the beach and realized
That she could not walk anymore
Then she started to swim
Until she became a fish

The fish swam the oceans
Crossing all the countries
Until she was trapped
Caught by a fisherman’s net
The fish thought it would die
But this was no common fish
It looked at the sky
“Make a wish”

And what was once from the sea
Became a free bird
Flapped its wings strongly
Went away to the heavens
Up and down anywhere

One day the bird
Was passing by
And saw a man
Down the sky

The man seems focused with his paper
But blanked pages seems to waver

The bird went down do help the man
Though he was hit by a rock
That a little kid have threw
But the bird cannot die
In the arms of the poet it lies

Then the poet wrote about it
The dying bird that fell here
The bird become poetry
And this time forever
And now he cannot ever be caged agai
